A Little History…
Jess moved to Key West in 2015 after spending seven LONG years in the medical sales field. She was ready to flex her creative muscles again and decided to pursue a career in hospitality on the funky little island of Key West!
She started out as a hostess at the island’s most exclusive restaurant located on a private island….she was laughed at a few times for asking for a hostess position, but knew she had to start somewhere
She quickly worked her way up the chain and ended up in management before deciding to pursue an opportunity on Duval Street.
She was working in 801 Bourbon Bar when the island’s best mixologist plucked her up and asked if she’d like to be a part of a cool new concept coming to Key West. That concept was General Horseplay, Key West’s best cocktail bar. She had the oppotunity to train one-on-one in the art of mixology and immediately fell in love.
Covid had different plans…
After working a volume bar for five years, she knew she wanted more. Coasting Cocktails was born! She saw a way to bring all of her world’s together and fill a gap in the Key West market!
Jess is here to bring cocktail culture on a mobile platform from backyard parties to corporate gatherings to fundraising galas to weddings and BEYOND!
